National Careers Week & World Book Day Competition

Last week the children in Primary 5 entered into St Patricks College's competition for National Careers Week and World Book Day. This was a great opportunity for them to explore their creative writing skills. 

The pupils wrote about an individual in their lives that they compared to being a superhero (teachers, parents, grandparents, doctors or nurses) and designed a beautiful book cover for their stories. There were over 100 entries into the competition. 

A big congratulations to Ella Mae O'Neill for coming 2nd in the competition and Cahir Currie for coming joint 4th!!
